Since 1968
A not for profit company aimed at promoting skiing and other alpine sporting pursuits.
Tanderra Ski Club was formed in 1968 with the initial building construction completed ready for occupancy in 1970. Tanderra represents a fine example of a traditional ski lodge which has been maintained and upgraded to keep pace with modern trends, but still retains the original atmosphere and spirit of traditional alpine lodges, which promotes enjoyment, friendship, sharing, skiing and the love of the alpine environment all year round.
Of the original 33 members, over half of those are still enthusiastically active in the club. There are a small number of memberships for sale, with new members always welcome, as they inject new ideas and enthusiasm into our Club.
Our lodge has been designed to cater for both small and larger groups of guests and members. The kitchens have recently been totally renovated to provide cooking facilities that would be the envy of a MasterChef! We have 2 fully equipped kitchens, freezers, fridge and pantry storage for each room, 2 lounges, open fire, 4 bathrooms, ski room, very efficient drying room, independently controlled hydronic heating – everything that is required to ensure a very enjoyable and comfortable alpine experience of a lifetime.
